This include cameras, computers, sporting equipment and tools that you use to earn an income.

China, silverware + furs

This class of specialty property includes:

  • Any porcelain ware, plates, cups, saucers that are supplementary to everyday usage.
  • Eating and serving utensils made of silver that are supplementary to everyday usage.
  • Figurines made of porcelain or ceramic material; and, furs and fur-trimmed garments.

Please note this not include dishes and cutlery that are used on a daily (or regular) basis.

Fine arts, collectibles + oriental rugs

Fine arts means visual art considered to have been created primarily for aesthetic purposes and judged for its beauty or meaningfulness, including:

  • Paintings
  • Sculptures
  • Drawings
  • Watercolours
  • Graphics
  • Limited edition prints
  • Other pieces that cannot be easily replaced

Collectibles means items collected as a hobby, for display, or as an investment whose value may appreciate, including:

  • Sports card collections
  • Comic book collections
  • Sports memorabilia
  • Rare or signed or first edition books
  • Coin collections
  • Stamp collections

Oriental rugs means hand-woven or hand-knotted one-piece rugs or carpets made in Asia.

Jewellery + watches

Objects designed for the adornment of the body, including:

  • Necklaces
  • Bracelets
  • Rings
  • Earrings
  • Watches

Please note that this class of specialty property also includes precious stones.

Musical instruments

Devices created or adapted for the purpose of making musical sounds.

This includes drums, guitars and pianos.


Commercially manufactured devices, with seats, used to transport person(s) across a body of water.

This class of specialty property also includes all related property like accessories, equipment and trailers.

Examples of watercraft include boats, canoes and kayaks.
